Chocolate Lava Cakes Recipe

Ingredients:
- 4 ounces (115g) high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Grease four ramekins with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in 20-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
- In another bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until smooth.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour and salt until the batter is well mixed.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Carefully run a knife around the edges of the cakes to loosen them, then invert each cake onto a plate.
- Serve your Chocolate Lava Cakes immediately, dusted with powdered sugar or topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
