Turkish Kebab Recipe


  • 500g lamb or chicken, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers for grilling


  1. Marinate the cubed meat in yogurt, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper for at least 2 hours.
  2. Thread the marinated meat onto skewers.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the skewers for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and has a nice char.
  5. Serve the kebabs hot with rice or flatbread.
