Citrus Baked Salmon Recipe

Citrus Baked Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Citrus Slices:

Wash and thinly slice the lemon, lime, and orange. Arrange the citrus slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. These slices will serve as a flavorful bed for the salmon.

3. Season the Salmon:

Place the salmon fillets on top of the citrus slices. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the salmon. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the salmon fillets to season them.

4. Citrus Glaze:

In a small bowl, combine the fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, and honey. Mix until the honey is fully dissolved. Drizzle the citrus glaze over the salmon fillets.

5. Bake:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches your desired level of doneness. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.

6. Garnish and Serve:

Remove the citrus baked salmon from the oven. Garnish with fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor. Serve hot with your choice of side dishes, such as steamed vegetables or rice.

7. Enjoy:

Enjoy your flavorful and healthy Citrus Baked Salmon!
